22mm Walnut Veneer Edging

The Walnut Veneer Edging tape is pre-glued and comes in a 22mm width and 0.5mm thickness. Simply iron on the edging strip to your exposed edge and trim off the excess. Lengths available are 5, 10 and 50 metre rolls, samples also available, select from the drop down box above.

Wood Veneers 

Wood veneers are slim slices of wood that are adhered to panels and boards used in the manufacture of furniture such as MDF. They are usually around 0.5mm to 3mm in thickness. Wood veneer edging tape is a simple and effective way to repair or rejuvenate existing furniture.

Walnut Veneer 

Our Walnut Veneer is the American Black variety, a hardwood native to North America. The veneer is very strong, durable and easy to work with. It usually has a reasonably uniform grain and a greyish brown colouring and finishes beautifully with an oil, stain or clear varnish. It is a very attractive veneer, much loved throughout the furniture industry, and embodies quality.

The Walnut edging tape comes in a 22mm width and a thickness of 0.5mm. We offer a range of roll sizes from 5 metres to 50, which can easily be cut to size with a sharp Stanley blade. If you are unsure if Walnut is the wood species that you require then you can order a sample before purchasing a roll.

Applying Your Iron on Edging Tape 

The Walnut edging tape is pre-glued which means you simply iron on with a regular iron. It is devised to be straightforward to use, even for absolute beginners.

When applying the iron on edging tape you just cut to the length needed, set your iron to a medium setting and move it along the edging applying some downward pressure, finish by trimming the excess. Our easy to follow 5-step guide How to Apply Edging Tape will take you through the process.

Finish the Walnut edging as you would any other real wood product with a varnish, stain or oil, this seals the wood and allows you to change the colour of the veneer, if for example you want a darker end result you can use a stain.

We aim to dispatch all orders within 1 working day. Delivery is usually within 1-3 working days.

Dispatched using Royal Mail Special Delivery or Courier. This service will ensure that your order is sent by a guaranteed next day method on orders placed before 1pm. Please note that Saturdays and Sundays are not classified as working days and we do not offer delivery on these days. Next working day delivery is not available to customers in the Highlands & Islands. The delivery cost  (Inc VAT) is £8.99.

We offer Free Delivery to the UK Mainland on Orders over £150 in value. 

Multiple purchases of edging rolls and veneer sheets may be shipped in continuous rolls.

Returns

If you are not happy with your purchase, please give written notice and return it to us within 14 days. We will issue a refund, provided the goods are returned in perfect condition and in their original packaging. We may require an image where an item has been damaged during transit. Please return the delivery note with the item and state the reason for the return. We are unable to refund postage costs. Please ensure that if you are returning an item that you obtain a proof of postage or use a 'tracked' postal service, as we cannot be liable for items lost in transit on their way back to us.
